To be fair (TBF) meaning

TBF stands for “To Be Fair.” It’s a quick way to add a balanced or clarifying point in a conversation, usually in texts or on social media. People use it to introduce a different perspective or to soften something that might sound too harsh.

For example, if someone says, “That new restaurant was kind of disappointing,” another person might reply with, “TBF, they just opened last week.” It’s a way of saying, “Hey, let’s give them a break” or “Maybe there’s another side to this.”
