This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect, or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

GDPR compliance

The EU’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) took effect on May 25th, 2018. We agree with the spirit of these regulations for a better Internet. What personal information do we collect from the people who visit our blog, website, or app?

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, or other details to help you with your experience.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form, or enter information on our site.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
– To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.

When you connect your social media profile to SocialBee, we may collect and store the link to your avatar, the name of your connected profile and @handle (where applicable). We use this data in order to deliver our Services to you.

We may also receive private information about your business profiles from the social network profiles you connect to SocialBee including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.

Any content shared from SocialBee on the social network will be governed by that platform’s privacy policy. For example, if you choose to connect your YouTube channel to SocialBee, this connection uses YouTube’s API services, and the YouTube Terms of Services located at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms and Google Privacy Policy located at https://policies.google.com/privacy will apply to you.

In addition, we are using information to publish your desired content on social networks you’ve authenticated within the SocialBee app. Once authenticated with a third-party social network platform, such as Twitter, we transfer your information to and from the applicable third-party network. We also obtain analytics data for a subset of social networks (Twitter Profiles, Facebook Pages & Groups, LinkedIn Company Pages, Instagram Business Accounts, Pinterest Profiles, and TikTok Profiles).

Also,  for any social networks that you have authorized in SocialBee, you may revoke this access at any time by following the instructions here. For example, if you have authorized us to access your information via the YouTube API services, in addition to our normal procedure for deleting stored data, you may revoke our access to your data via the Google security settings page, located at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

SocialBee’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By utilizing SocialBee, you are also agreeing to Google’s Privacy Policy.

How do we protect your information?

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We only provide articles and information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. 

Deletion policy

Here at SocialBee Labs SRL, your privacy is a top priority. This policy provides you with information on how you can have your personal data deleted from our system.

Your Right to Data Deletion

As a user, you have the right to request the deletion of all your personal data held by us. If you wish to exercise this right, please send your request via email to success@socialbee.com. Upon receipt of your request, we will confirm your identity and proceed with the deletion process. Once everything’s deleted, we’ll email you to confirm that your data is no longer in our system

Types of Data Eligible for Deletion

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, the following types of data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems:

1. Account information: This includes your user name, email address, contact information, and any other personal identifiers associated with your SocialBee account.

2. Social profiles: Any social media profiles that are connected to your SocialBee account will be unlinked and all associated data will be deleted.

3. Posts & schedules: All scheduled and historical posts that have been created and managed through your account will be permanently deleted.

Google

We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

Users can visit our site anonymously. Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website. Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can easily be found on the page specified above. You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page. You can change your personal information by logging into your account.

How does our site handle Do Not Track signals?

We honor Do Not Track signals and Do Not Track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.

In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:

We will notify you via email within 1 business day. We will notify the users via in-site notification within 1 business day. We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law.
