What does "glow-up" mean?

A glow-up refers to a transformation, usually a positive one, where someone improves their appearance, confidence, or overall lifestyle. 

For example, someone might say, “Wow, you’ve really had a glow-up!” if they see that person looking happier, healthier, or more confident than they did before. The term is often used to describe transformations from adolescence to adulthood, where someone who may have been awkward or unsure of themselves now seems to have “come into their own.”

Glow-ups are commonly talked about on social media, especially in posts showing “before and after” photos, where people highlight their personal progress.
