The Mission of the Position

Your Mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create educational and entertaining content that attracts prospects and converts them into customers.

You will also market this content like it’s the new sliced bread.

You will create in-depth, highly actionable, “ultimate” guides on topics related to social media, online marketing, and various areas of interest for SocialBee’s prospects and customers. They will be amplified by an effective content promotion strategy.

The focus is on the content writing part of the job. We’ll help you with the content marketing part if needed.

Required Outcomes

Topic Research

  • Come up with a large range of ideas and outlines for possible content.
  • Use keyword research and SEO best practices to prioritize content creation.

    • Content Writing

  • Be independent, self directed, and meet editorial deadlines.
  • Create in-depth guides that offer educational value and are fun to read.

    • Promotion Strategy

  • Create and execute a promotion strategy that amplifies each content piece.
  • Generate relevant email subscribers and app trial users.

    • Competencies:

    • Proactive – You’re a proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude, and we can rely on you to tell us what we can improve, even without asking.
    • Understand your target audience – You understand consumers and what motivates them online; you know how to do target audience research.
    • Write the right content – You’ve checked there is need for such content, and you know you can make one that’s better than what’s already on the market.
    • Write the content right – It’s well researched, covering all the important aspects, written in an engaging, fun, and active tone.
    • The content is finger-stopping – You’ve mastered the headline, write in short paragraphs that always lead to the next one. You use subheadings, lists, and media throughout the text to make it highly readable.
    • Amplify the content – Generate and execute a scalable content promotion strategy that brings your valuable content in the front of the right audience.
    • Attention to detal – Did you catch that? Should I even mention that your content shouldn’t have typos or grammatical errors?
    • You’re able to work in a fast-paced environment and are aligned with our values – Knowledge of magic tricks is considered a plus 😉

    Nice to have:

  • Social Media Savvy – You have a deep understanding of the main social platforms and know all the new social tools and techniques out there.
  • Visual intelligence – You know your way around visual editing tools and can quickly create enticing images for your content and social media.
  • Online marketing and lead generation – You have some knowledge of this topic and the customer lifecycle.
  • Link building and outreach techniques – You know who to contact and how to contact them so they will link to and promote your content.
  • Divi theme for WordPress – Ideally, you know what I’m talking about here.
  • Keyword research and SEO – You know the tools and techniques that help your content rank for SEO and delight readers.
